NPCs

Non-player characters (or NPCs), refer to the various characters that populate the realm of Dreva.

Personalities

Each NPC is assigned a personality type:

  • Neutral

  • Cheerful

  • Moody

  • Downtrodden

  • Cold

  • Dramatic

This personality type affects their dialogue and animations. Certain NPCs will have set personalities, while other NPCs can have their personalities change based on a variety of factors, including player actions or interactions with other NPCs.

NPC Types

Rival Travelers

Enemies with a team of Pikamoon. These are optional encounters inside Havens and Outposts, but mandatory within Wildlands and Dungeons if you cross paths with them.

Guardians

Powerful boss enemies. Can either be Pikamoon or a Rival Traveler. Almost always fought within the single player story, but thereโ€™s optional encounters as well.

Quest Givers

Important figures who give quests to players.

Vendors

Buys and sells items for in-game currency. Different types of vendors sell different types of items. Typically present in Havens and Outposts, but sometimes found wandering the world.

Tutors

Teaches Pikamoon new moves for in-game currency. The stronger the move, the more expensive it is to train. Typically present in Havens and Outposts, but sometimes found wandering the world.

Traders

People looking to trade one of their Pikamoon for another.

Regular

Standard NPCs that populate the environment. Theyโ€™re used to populate havens, and add texture to the world. They can also talk amongst one another.
