Through reflecting the sheer brutality of this area of Dreva, the Nexus’ dynamic weather system ensures that players are always subject to frequent climate changes, all of which designed to add even more unpredictability and strategy to gameplay. This is due to the intricacies of game mechanics and the effectiveness of Pikamoons/inventory items dynamically altering as weather changes take place.
By design, this system encourages players to prepare for a volatile survival climate by diversifying their captured Pikamoons and inventory items, as what’s of value in one moment could become instantaneously redundant in the next.

Firestorm
Fire
Damage
Heat wave buffs that strengthen Burn/Magma-type Pikamoons and weaken Water-type Pikamoons. The map gains a red tint during this sequence, with all players taking small amounts of fire damage, except those with Fire Pikamoons. All weapons and projectiles also gain fire damage.
Dust Storm
Averd
Visibility
Dust clouds that lower visibility across the map. Averd-type Pikamoons allow their players to see through dust, while simultaneously highlighting enemies or loot within a short radius.
Thunderstorm
Thunder
Movement
Lightning strikes that cause damage to anything nearby. Thunder-type Pikamoons absorb these strikes, granting them a buff and while protecting nearby players. Stationary players are always struck by lightning, encouraging continuous movement.
Windstorm
Air
Player Convergence
Heavy winds that push players toward a specific point of the map, forcing engagements. These winds buff Wind-type Pikamoons, and players can resist them by moving in the opposite direction. Ranged weapons become ineffective as heavy wind affects projectile accuracy.
Meteor Strikes
Rock
Loot
Falling meteors that Rock-type Pikamoons can summon and gain buffs from. These meteors carry Rare to Legendary loot, prompting players to fight over resources. Meteors deal area damage on impact, whilst larger ones carry more loot.
Rainfall
Water
Healing
Rainfall that buffs Aquatic-type Pikamoons while weakening Burn and Thunder-types. As a result, Burn-type Pikamoons deal less damage, while Thunder-types become temporarily disabled if they attempt a Thunder attack. At the same time, players receive a healing buff that restores health at a moderate rate.
