Corruption Zone

The ‘Corruption Zone’ is the area outside of the ‘Safe Zone’ that players must stay clear of to avoid damage and/or elimination.
In following typical Battle Royale dynamics, the ‘Safe Zone’ shrinks over time, forcing more frequent Player-versus-Player conflicts as players are forced into occupying the same areas of the map as the game progresses. Additionally, this system also helps prevent ‘zone camping’ throughout PikaRoyle.
When it comes to the threats posed by the ‘Corruption Zone,’ the ‘Corruption Status’ of players grows as they spend time outside of the ‘Safe Zone,’ meaning they must re-enter it in order to stop its accumulation. Upon the unfortunate event of a player’s ‘Corruption Status’ reaching 100%, they will transform into an AI-controlled corrupted being that roams the corruption zone, attacking players and dropping high-tier loot when defeated.
