Dreva’s Desert Region is a vast, windswept landscape defined by towering sandstone monoliths and rugged rock formations that dramatically rise from a sea of ever-shifting sand. Collectively, over time, these monoliths have created a labyrinth of narrow passageways, hidden valleys, and soaring cliffs that not only make traversing the region a thing of extreme difficulty, but also open the doors for new exploration and discovery.
Within these rock and sand formations lie the remnants of an ancient civilization that once carved elaborate structures such as temples, tombs, and sanctuaries from mere stone. As its centerpiece stands as an immense temple that was carved into the largest canyon of them all, The Hall of Whispers. To this day, The Hall of Whispers remains shrouded in mystery, as its walls are said to echo with the voices of those long lost to time. As a glimpse into the past, its intricate carvings and murals also recount tales of ancient wars, fallen empires, and other chronicles from Dreva’s formative periods. As such, the hall is revered as a site of immense historical and mystical significance, attracting all of those who seek knowledge and power from what came before.
Despite its seemingly peaceful state, deep within the narrowest, most desolate canyons, something stirs beneath the sands of the Desert Region. A long-buried power, dormant for centuries, is said to lie in wait, not only poised to reawaken when the moment is right, but also threatening to reshape the fate of Dreva in its entirety.
