Nu Wa's Deliverance

And finally we have a religion that’s distinct from those previously mentioned, as per its name, ‘Nu Wa's Deliverance’ is a religion that worships the Goddess of Death.

The story of this religion began when Desert Region Barkians, originally from the Grassland, journeyed on a quest to explore new territories. When faced with Dreva’s treacherous Desert region without preparation, they had no option but to find refuge in remote hillside caves that offered no access to resources. Desperate and hungry, the group prayed to Nu Wa for deliverance... where in answering these pleas, a Pikamoon appeared, guiding them to an obscure part of the cave system that miraculously featured a water-filled chasm.

Through finding this resource, the survival and prosperity of this group of Barkians was established, inspiring them to devote the rest of their existence to the Goddess of Death. To do so, they built a temple known as the ‘Hall of Nu Wa,’ which featured grand columns and arches, as well as a throne for Umbra - the Pikamoon of Nu Wa’s essence. Born from this story, followers of ‘Nu Wa's Deliverance’ now conduct regular water-healing rituals, wherein they draw water from the sacred chasm and sprinkling it over themselves, symbolizing purification and renewal.
