Marketplace Economics

$PIKA is the native currency of the Pikaverse. Users need Pikamoon tokens to make any purchase in the marketplace. Everything on the marketplace can only be bought with Pikamoon tokens, from health to transportation and even cosmetics.

Loyalty Program

Because we reward dedication. Players who play Pikamoon daily will receive rewards just for logging in. If a player succeeds in completing a series of challenges, these rewards will be upgraded in quality/quantity.

Marketplace Distribution

In an effort to ensure long-term stability and health for the project, the marketplace equitably distributes the tokens to benefit the Pikamoon project. Most importantly, 5% of the tokens that are spent will be burned forever! This mechanism was integrated to increase scarcity which in turn leads to an increase in price of the token. This will be a major advantage for token hodlers.

65% of the tokens spent will go to the Play-2-Earn pool. The tokens will be distributed monthly to quests that players must complete in the Pikaverse. Finally, 30% will be dedicated to Pikamoon's marketing and development, so the project can grow and scale up as needed.

Marketplace Stock

Healing Items

Exactly what it says on the tin! Healing items allow you to restore a Pikamoon's HP, or even bring unconscious Pikamoon back to normal, so you don’t need to wait for them to recover. You can even purchase Energy Restores for use in P2E activites.

Capture Device

The Capture Device is your main method at acquiring wild Pikamoon. When a Pikamoon is willing to join your team, shown by your skill and prowess in battle, you’ll be able to use the Capture Device in order to seal the deal. The Capture Device can be equipped with numerous upgrades and behavior changes, in order to help capture different Pikamoon. The Marketplace also offers different types of Capture Devices, designed to capture specific species of Pikamoon.

The Capture Device is the only item which be can used on an opposing Pikamoon, and only if that Pikamoon is wild.

Skins

Pikamoon are a varied species, with some boasting vastly different appearances from their peers. The marketplace showcases this, offering two forms of customization: Paintblasters which are simple color swaps, and Specialized Skins which are designed for specific Pikamoon but vastly more complex (featuring different animations and particle effects).

Cosmetics

Because who doesn’t love a bit of style? Cosmetic items are equipables you can place on any of your Pikamoon. When inspecting a cosmetic in the store, the player will be treated to a “preview” showcasing the cosmetic on a Pikamoon. Cosmetics can be equipped to any of your Pikamoon in the party select. Cosmetics can only be equipped to one Pikamoon at a time. Cosmetics will appear on the player’s Pikamoon in the party select screen and during a battle.

Move Effects

These change the animations and particle effects of a Pikamoon’s moves, giving them a different visual style to the default effects.

Terrain

For those looking to change up the field of battle, we have a variety of Terrain options. These replace the 2D background present in a Pikamoon battle. The player can switch between Terrain types at any time.

Gear

Equippable items! Player characters can equip gear to give their Pikamoon passive buffs to their stats and abilities.

Knowledge Orbs

Ancient stores of knowledge containing the secrets to kicking butt! Knowledge Orbs teach your Pikamoon new abilities, often those they can't learn elsewhere.

Battle Items

Items that a Pikamoon can hold in battle. These range from consumables treats to offer a powerful one-time boost, or a permanent item offering a continuous effect.

Boosts

Powerful stimulants capable of boosting your Pikamoon’s stats for the duration of the battle. You can only use a single stimulant on each of your Pikamoon for the duration of the battle, so choose wisely.

Mounts

Travel around the region of Dreva in style! Acquire the ability to ride your own Pikamoon, or pick up a hoverboard for swift, easy travel.

Portals

Gateways for instant travel. Portals allow you to teleport to specific locations across Dreva, all in the blink of an eye.

Permaboosts

An evolved form of Boosts. These incredibly powerful items will permanently increase the stats of one of your Pikamoon.
